Synopsis
Widow Liu and Ma Cuihua are both left-behind women in the countryside, yet they successively become entangled in Village Chief Zhang’s web of power and sex. One endures and resists, the other actively maneuvers; desire and calculation intertwine, ultimately exposing the affections and betrayals beneath rural power.
