Synopsis
At the Ming family's night banquet there are also guests from Northern Qi. Just as Fan Xian takes his seat, a woman of the Ming family forces him at knifepoint to hand over the seal. Haitang Duoduo bursts in and saves him, and together they discover that the real seal is not in Jiangnan at all; the clue is hidden in a letter from the Princess in the capital. Before they can investigate, an imperial edict arrives overnight. On the torn page in Fan Xian's hand, only four words remain: "after killing Ye."
