Synopsis
The story is set in the Su mansion, deep in the women's quarters of ancient times. Young lady Su Wan'er has kept an empty bed for many years, her husband always away, and in the vast residence only her personal maid Xiaotao keeps her company day and night. One day, as Su Wan'er pins flowers in her hair before the mirror, Xiaotao attends her gently as usual. But as the two draw closer, an unprecedented ambiguity quietly takes root.
